COMMUNITY NOTICE – AUGUST 17, 2021 UPDATE
According to Commonwealth of Pennsylvania website, pa.gov, “COVID-19 mitigation measures have been lifted in Pennsylvania. Businesses and organizations may continue to implement mask policies. All businesses and individuals are encouraged to follow CDC safety guidance.”
The Stroud Township Board of Supervisors, and volunteer boards and commissions, will conduct in-person meetings at the Municipal Center, 1211 N. Fifth Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Meeting agendas for the Board of Supervisors will be posted on the township website and Facebook page the day before the meeting. Please click on the Calendar tab for scheduled meetings of township boards and commissions.
The public is encouraged to conduct business with the township on-line by downloading documents which can be found by clicking on the Permit Forms tab on the township website, stroudtownship.org. Completed forms can be emailed to the email address provided on the form. If an email address is not provided, email your completed form to email@example.com. Completed forms can also be faxed to 570-421-3240. Please identify the person and/or department that you’re faxing. If you have any questions or require assistance, please call the township staff at 570-421-3362.
Customers of the Stroud Township Sewer Authority can mail payments to the authority’s attention at 1211 N. Fifth Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360, or make payments on-line at stroudtwpsewer.org. Sewer Authority payments can also be made through the township’s website, stroudtownship.org under Pay Online. If you have any problems making credit card payments to the Sewer Authority, call 844-324-5371, 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Gaunt Road Compost Facility open on Saturdays 7 AM to 2 PM, except holiday weekends;
Weekdays 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Fireworks are prohibited from being discharged on township roads and in township parks and parking lots. A person using consumer fireworks in violation of state law commits a summary offense and, upon conviction, can be fined $100.
