We continue to ask the public to assist us in combating illegal dumping and contamination problems by reporting vehicle license plate information of those who but trash and other materials on the ground. Please call the Waste Authority Police at 570-643-6100 or go to their website at www.TheWasteAuthority.Com to report any illegal dumping.

Volunteering to Serve
The Board of Supervisors is advised by boards and commissions comprised of citizen volunteers of the township.These bodies allow the township to draw on the talent and experience of Township residents as well as to provide citizens an opportunity to become more directly involved in their community. These volunteer advisory boards and commissions provide an invaluable service to the Township.
Prospective members of these boards can volunteer at any time during the year even if there isn’t a vacant position. To apply for a Township advisory board position, please fill out our Volunteer Application and send it with a letter of interest to the Township Manager by email to
stroudde@ptd.net or by mail/in person to 1211 N. Fifth St., Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
If you are applying for a specific and currently open position, please note the vacant position on your application. If you are submitting an application to be considered in the future as openings occur, you will be contacted by Township staff when the vacancy is announced in order to confirm your interest in this specific opportunity.
